Academic Advising

Students who are accepted into the STARS program are assigned an advisor on the STARS Team.  This individual may serve as a student's primary or secondary advisor and help students to do all of the following:

  • Enroll for courses
  • Assist in course selection
  • Navigating major/program requirements
  • Graduation planning

STARS participants may also attend workshops to help guide them academically, and may enroll one day prior to everyone else on campus each semester.

STARS also has a Full-Time Transfer/Career Advisor, Kyle Bures, available to provide assistance with transferring to a four year university, as well as major and career exploration.
